Week  1     

Capítulo 1.  Introductions. Greetings. Deciding how to address people: Using or usted. Describing yourself and others: Introduction to ser and estar.

Week 2      

Capítulo 1. Vocabulary en la clase.  Saying what there is; Gender and number of nouns, the indefinite article, and hay. Numbers from 0 to 100. Vocabulario: En el campus universitario.

Week 3

Capítulo 1.  ¿Cómo es la universidad? Specifying people and things and describing them: The definite article and adjectives.

Saying who it is: subject pronouns and the verb ser.

Los cursos universitarios y frases útiles. Resumen de gramática.

 

Week 4

Capítulo 2. Describing your schedule. Time and the days of the week.

Saying where you are. The verb estar.

Week 5

Capítulo 2. Las actividades diarias. Talking about your activities: Regular –ar verbs.

Asking questions: Question Formation

Week 6

Capítulo 2. Lugares cerca de la Universidad. Indicating Location: Prepositions of place and the contraction with de.

Saying what you are going to do: Ir, the contraction with a, ir a + infinitive. Los pasatiempos.

 

Week 7

Capítulo 3. Los familiares. Saying whose it is: The possessive adjectives.

Describing relationships: The verbs tener.and venir.

Week 8
